Accessibility statement

Siding Chesapeake wants everyone to be able to use this site and reach a siding contractor by phone. The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What has been done

• Text and buttons meet AA color contrast, and focus is shown with a visible outline.
• Every page has one main heading, landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer, and a skip link.
• Menus are built on standard disclosure elements, so they open with the keyboard and work without JavaScript; Escape closes them.
• Photographs have text alternatives. Icons are decorative and hidden from screen readers.
• Pages reflow to a single column on small screens and respect the reduced-motion setting.
• The phone number is a real link, so it can be dialed from a phone or by assistive technology.

Known limits

Some linked official documents, such as city permit guides, are PDFs published by others and may not be fully accessible. If you cannot read one, email and a plain-text summary will be sent.
