This policy covers sidingchesapeake.com ("the site"), run under the name Siding Chesapeake.

What the site collects

The site has no forms, no accounts and sets no cookies. It may use Matomo, a privacy-focused analytics tool, configured without cookies and served from this domain, to count page views and taps on the phone number. Matomo records pages visited, the referring page, browser and device type and an approximate location derived from the IP address.

Phone calls

When you call, the call passes through a call-tracking and routing network operated by a third party, which records the calling number, the time and length of the call and may record the call itself for quality and billing. The contractor you reach receives your number and what you tell them. Their use of it is governed by their own policies.

What the site does not do

The site does not sell your personal information, does not run advertising trackers and does not use social media pixels.

Children

The site is meant for adults arranging work on their homes and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Your requests

To ask what is held about you or to ask for deletion, email contact@sidingchesapeake.com. Call recordings held by the call network or by a contractor have to be requested from them; the site will pass on a request where it can.

Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new date.
